About Rob

Hands-on technical problem solving, from the help desk to the server room.

I bring a practical blend of managed IT, full-stack web development, systems administration, hosting, automation, and business operations experience. My work has moved between help desk tickets, production floors, server rooms, client websites, custom applications, and business-critical support, so I tend to think about technology from the user, operator, and owner perspectives at the same time.

Rob Scarcella in a technical work environment

Background

Technology work shaped by real business pressure.

I am an experienced, self-taught technology specialist with more than fifteen years of professional work across hardware, software, networking, web development, application development, security, hosting, and direct customer support. Much of my career has been built in environments where the work had to be stable, documented, secure, and understandable to non-technical users. That mix is what shapes my freelance work now: useful systems, clear communication, and practical follow-through after launch.
